Even though my Illustrator 101 week one homework wasn’t due until today, I finished all of the instruction and submitted my assignments for week two already. We were supposed to design an invitation or greeting card. I’ve been excited about converting my iPad (Paper by 53) sketches into Illustrator, so this was a perfect excuse.
I originally drew a quick sketch of this bird on my iPad using Paper by 53. I posted it on here a while ago. I am taking the Illustrator 101 class with Nicole’s Classes and we went over the pen + pencil tools in the most recent lesson. I decided to give it a try and “recreate” my bird using Illustrator. I’m pretty happy with the end result. I think that I’m really going to enjoy my new hobby!

A quick PacMan sketch that I did. I always loved this game, especially on one of the “table-top” arcade cabinets. I like the newer generation of games as much as the next person, but it’s hard to beat a classic.
