We were supposed to design an invitation or greeting card. I posted it on here a while ago. I am taking the Illustrator 101 class with Nicole’s Classes and we went over the pen + pencil tools in the most recent lesson. I decided to give it a try and “recreate” my bird using Illustrator. I’m pretty happy with the end result. I used to draw a lot when I was little, but somewhere down the line I stopped. This app has really helped me get back in touch with my creative side. These are just a few “heroes” that I drew…and some guy who looks like a broke Robin Hood. I tend to just make random lines/shapes on the “paper” until it looks like a part of something recognizable, then I start to draw it. I know it’s not the way you’re supposed to do it, but it’s not like I’m a professional. I’m glad that I am getting back in to drawing.
